I use Kerax 4600 for my melts and my finished melts with this mould measure approx 50mm x 13mm and roughly 15-20g in weight each. Perfect for embedding a colour through the centre to make a surprise reveal melt. I have also tested this with a soft wax (rapeseed & coconut).
It is good to note that not all waxes are as opaque as others and your coloured embed may show through. For example, parrafin is less opaque than rapeseed & coconut. We find that using white mica helps hide the embed.

Colour of mould may vary.
We use lasered, acrylic templates to make our moulds which means that engraved surfaces may have faint lines or marks.
These moulds can be heated to temperatures up to 200 degrees although I personally recommend around 100 degrees. Warming your moulds can help give a smoother, shinier finish to your bars although some pitting can still occur.Definition of fine detail can be lost with particular colours of wax, addition of glitter and colour styles such as marbling etc. Definition is harder to see in plain white wax as apposed to darker colours so to get the best out of our moulds we advise testing them (unfragranced) with different colours and various levels of decoration to find what works best for you. Personally we love to paint our moulds with a gorgeous mica before pouring to really bring out the detail.
Happy Melting!!
